No Picture Needed, just words

1Kings 19:11-12

Speaking on the still small voice. As Americans we are so attracted to the fanciest lights, biggest auditorium, or the best communicator, using human standards to make Jesus more "appealing." I see nothing wrong with any of these things if they bring people into a true deep relationship with Christ. At some point we do need to stop and make sure we are not attracting people to the fire, the earthquake, or the wind, but instead introducing them to the still small voice.

Prom Queen Dating

The other week a few of my friends were cruising and we decided to go home get dressed up and go out to a fancy dinner. Check out my date for the night...the lovely Dani Lum

It was such an enjoyable night and I am so glad that we all went out and enjoyed each others company.

Thoughts...

I wasn't very impressed with the presentation of the show, well actually I was very unimpressed...everything from the visual media, sound transitions, staging, and lighting was below mediocre. It seemed to me they spent more time getting ready for the show this morning then they did preparing for the show today.

The collections that were shown, absolutely uninspired, it looked more like they were showing projects their professor gave them to do rather then channeling actual creativity.

HIGHLIGHTS: I was impressed with two specific designers, Bryant Des-Brisay and Jaclyn Santos

Midnight hike

Just got done doing a hike near makapuu...it's 1:09 in the morning and I'm so tired...guess it is time to go to sleep...love you all...

Valentines Date

So this is what my life was like for the past three days...

12:00pm 2/13: I wondering what the flights look like to LA

3:15pm 2/13: sitting on Hawaiian Airlines, only now it is hitting me that I am flying to California for V-day

10:45pm 2/13: Landing in LAX

12:30am 2/14: walk into Pinky Taylor 's house, he is a good friend and a buddy. Also an amazing artist

12:00pm 2/14: eating at sugar shack with Pinky

3:00 pm 2/14: surprise Mekiella Christine Blackwell at work, I had a janitor driving me around the campus on his golf cart cause I had no idea where I was going...that is how you roll up to surprise somebody!! Forget a limo a golf cart is way more pimp.

7:00 pm 2/14: Eating dinner at El Torito, but I had a hard time eating cause I had so many butterflies in my stomach

9:50pm 2/14: watching the "kings speech," I can be honest and say I didn't really care for this movie. It was nice seeing the perseverance and of King George VI.

1:19am 2/15: Dropping Meki off at her car...such an amazing night I couldn't stop thinking about it.

2:30am 2/15: Outside of LAX sleeping on the side of the road in my car cause I was too lazy to sleep in HB again and fight traffic all the way to LAX in the morning...might have been the coldest night of my life...terrible decision :) hahahha

8:30am 2/15: In LAX waiting for my flight back to Hawaii

All in all I can't believe it happened and I can't explain how happy I am that I have this memory!!!

Towed

So the other day I was driving and a commercial came on talking about cars over heating...I'm usually really good about things like car maintenance so I looked down and my heat gauge looked a little high. I was really close to home so I just shot over...after diagnosing the problem I had to buy a new radiator...BUT all the tools to work on the car were in kailua at my dads house. In my attempt to get there I over heated and had to get towed to his house. But two hours later new radiator and hoses and I'm back on the road :)

I miss food...

So I stopped eating meat for the past 2 weeks and my stomach is killing me telling me it wants some protein. But I'm trying to eat a bit more healthy...so I figured I'd take some advice from Capt. Jack Sparrow

So thinking I'm asian I assumed I would be good at this...but turns out the black mamba is only legit on the basketball court. I'll stick to surfing and being silly :)

Tea time

There is something so delicious about mint tea. I know out isn't that cold but hawaii has been chilly lately and relaxing with a hot cup of tea had been an amazing escape for me lately :)

Late for my flight

North shore bon fire

There's a few things the north shore is known for, massive surf, warm water, sand, smiles, and a care free attitude. But that is only the day time, come night fall what happens? We light things on fire :)
