The Re-launch of a legend...

I have recently decided to start shaping surfboards under my INTER-Act label again...The purpose and goal of these boards have always been to give back to a world that has given me inspiration.

- Fahad & Shahadat


Fahad (pictured left) is a young surfer from Bangladesh, who although extremely smart is from a lower caste, Shudras (agriculturists, service providers, and some artisan groups). His brother Shahadat is an entrepreneur even though extremely young (16), two years ago he started selling shells on the beach to tourist. His business has grown so that he now has 2 other street kids working for him.

During my time there both of these brothers impacted me, Fahad with his youthful innocence, Shahadat with his care for people outside of his family. I promised myself that I would help both of these kids break through this "caste" system that holds them down. So with the money from these surfboards I will be sending them to school, getting them a personal tutor, and supporting their hobbies, Fahad loves surfing, Shahadat is an amazing soccer player.
